Impeccable
I love trying new restaurants and eating out. NYC has probably thee best restaurants in the world. But still i find myself returning to BG over and over again. The food is impeccable, the service ever so eager to please. This restaurant definitely holds its own among the city's best restaurants. Try the lobster napoleon - amazing! And the scallops - wow!

Perfect for Lunch
I absolutely love this place, i go into the city just to eat here sometimes. Its the perfect lunch atmosphere, but beware of shotty service if you dont look the part of an upper class park avenue trophy spouse. I recommend looking your best if you expect some level of respect! I come here at least 2 or 3 times a month, but sometimes I still have trouble finding the cafe on the 7th floor, who decided that only certain elevators go to certain levels?! Overall this is a great eat.

Good Food...Chic Setting
BG is located in the ultra elegant and ritzy Bergdorf Goodman. The lunch crowd is made up mostly of beautiful women in Chanel suits and well dressed men. Space has a preppy Hamptons feel to it with a fabulous view overlooking Central Park. Service was excellent, friendly and efficient. BG has excellent salads. A main of lobster napoleon consisted of layers of fresh pasta overflowing with tender, large, fresh chunks of lobster in a chanterelle sauce. Desert of caramelized pineapple a la mode was excellent. Prices are steep but portions are very generous. Only drawback was the large lunchtime crowd which contributes to the ear splitting noise level.

BG is a pure delight!
I am really happy that I stumbled upon BG on a recent visit to Bergdorf! It is lightyears better than most retailers' cafes and has a fantastic tea menu! I'd venture to say it is the best spot (with a great 7th floor view!) for tea in the City!
